Description Supplement containing vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) in 100% - an essential nutrient that supports the horse's immunity and normal physiological functions. This supplement is particularly useful for horses exposed to oxidative stress, intense exercise, disease, transport or changes in environmental conditions. Vitamin C plays a number of important roles in equine health - it acts as a powerful antioxidant, helps limit the effects of oxidative stress, is involved in many metabolic processes and plays a role in the synthesis of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid, which are important for tissue, joint and skin health. Respiratory and circulatory support Suggestion for use: Vitamin C should be mixed with a concentrate and given daily: Horses weighing approximately 550 kg: 5 g (1 flat scoop) per day, For increased need (e.g. stress, exercise, transport): 8 g per day, Ponies: 3 g per day; For increased need: 5 g per day. One measuring cup is included in the package. The supplement should be administered daily, preferably with feed.
