PP05 Herbaceous Borders – Full Kit on Dark or Pale green cotton

Description Herbaceous Borders – this design was stitched originally on bottle green fabric and later slightly redesigned and stitched for Annie’s Needlework Festival in Williamsburg 2017, on linen fabric.  I have now re-listed it on the bottle green cotton fabric. It is also available on pale green fabric. A design suitable for a beginner.  It incorporates simple crewel stitches, using Perle No.12 and/or stranded cottons. DESIGN SIZE: 3″ or 7.5 cm in diameter.  This design is worked in a 5″ or 12 cm hoop or frame. KIT CONTENTS:  A full kit is provided is provided, which includes 14 full skeins of Perle thread as well as cut lengths of stranded cotton, needles, the design screen printed onto cotton fabric, muslin (calico) for backing, instructions, stitch glossary, colour photographs and the wooden base.  It is depicted on an oak pincushion base but is also available on mahogany or beech. Alternatively, you can also buy this kit with a Linen backing, and It is also available as a Pattern & Print.
